After 27 played minutes, Perisanii's Eric Feroiu shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Tudor Capșuneanu came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. Horaţiu Râznicu got his second yellow card in the match during the 90th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. After having played for 93 minutes, Matei Ipate managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Teii Petroșani's supporters crossed their fingers, but Matei Ipate was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Matei Ipate scored 3-0 in the 95th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Emil Anghelescu, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Teii Petroșani's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
