Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. In the 10thth minute of the game Traian Penciulescu who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Homoraciul's Damian Muslea was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 15 minutes into the match, Homoraciul's Ştefan Avramescu sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Lucian Goga narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Ionuț Boieraș sent away a hard shot on goal in the 20th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With a little luck, Puini's Lucian Goga got control of the ball when Ştefan Avramescu tried to sneak it across the goal line. Constantin Măcrineanu hit a great freekick 22 minutes into the match. After 57 played minutes Homoraciul got a freekick which was hit by Nicolae Copil. When the match had gone on for 88 minutes, Ştefan Avramescu put it in 2-0 from a short distance just to the right of Lucian Goga. 95 minutes into the match, Puini's goal looked a bit too open when Ionuț Boieraș came free, but Lucian Goga reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. For all the effort they put into the match, the Puini players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Homoraciul.
