The referee ignored Bilghez AS's protests and gave Gigi Mohora a yellow card for diving instead. In the 6th match minute, Bilghez AS was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gigi Mohora to maneuver through the defense. Manuel Ţintă's late challenge caught a VIITORUL BUZAU's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Manuel Ţintă helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Bilghez AS getting a freekick after 7 minutes play. Manuel Ţintă hit a great ball. Cristian Nastac took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 8th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Aristide Dragomir. Bilghez AS's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. 9 minutes into the game, Aurelian Nisipeanu was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. VIITORUL BUZAU's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Bilghez AS the free kick. After a rather tough play, VIITORUL BUZAU's Aurelian Nisipeanu got a free kick in the 9th minute. 12 minutes into the game, Bilghez AS's Anton Boștină nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Călin Bistreanu made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Anton Boștină scored 0-2 in the 20th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Călin Bistreanu, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The audience was convinced that Anton Boștină's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Călin Bistreanu was relentless in the 24th minute of the game. If Manuel Ţintă had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. VIITORUL BUZAU's Călin Bistreanu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Anton Boștină in the 63rd minute of play. Manuel Ţintă who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 66thth minute tested the skills of Călin Bistreanu when he managed to save the team from getting behind. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Anton Boștină in the 67th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Călin Bistreanu saved VIITORUL BUZAU from getting behind. In the 71st minute, Manuel Ţintă made a precise shot to the right of Călin Bistreanu. VIITORUL BUZAU's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-6. The audience thought a goal was coming when Manuel Ţintă got free with Călin Bistreanu in the 76th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 78 minutes into the match, VIITORUL BUZAU's goalkeeper Călin Bistreanu had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Manuel Ţintă. The supporters of Bilghez AS booed when VIITORUL BUZAU was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 80 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dinu Berceanu didn't get a good kick on the ball. Bilghez AS's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
