Dumbrava's Isac Cristian got a good chance for a goal in the 55th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Augustin Vişan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Virgil Jienescu, who was totally free with the ball in the 57th minute. The supporters of Dumbrava booed when FC Matei was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 59 match minutes in a wonderful position. Octavian Schipor didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 60th minute, FC Matei's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Mihail Condrea fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. After a defensive mix-up in FC Matei's zone, Isac Cristian stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Augustin Vişan came out of the goal and Isac Cristian tried to chip the ball over his head. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. If Mihail Condrea had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. In the 74th minute the ball was on its way in behind FC Matei's goalkeeper Augustin Vişan, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 77th match minute, FC Matei was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Codrin Pencu to maneuver through the defense. Mihail Condrea fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 79th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Augustin Vişan having to interfere. 81 minutes into the match, Dumbrava's Mihail Condrea sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Augustin Vişan narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Dumbrava's Octav Nicodim suffered a concussion in the 87th minute, after a hard challenge, and had to leave the field. Dacian Baniciu kicked well hit freekick during the 88th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 96th minute, Mugurel Brădescu managed to get in a good position for a shot. Dumbrava's supporters rose to their feet, but Mugurel Brădescu was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Augustin Vişan breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick.
