In the 4th match minute, Aposdorf was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Valeriu Purcărete to maneuver through the defense. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. Niculae Hârșu recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 7th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. With a little luck, Aposdorf's Cristinel Petre got control of the ball when Mădălin Alamaru tried to sneak it across the goal line. Thanks to some nice moves Mădălin Alamaru could shoot a difficult shot in the 13th minute, which Cristinel Petre however easily saved by the left post. After a rather tough play, Virsag UFC's Nistor Iovulescu got a free kick in the 14th minute. Cristinel Petre showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Petre Stratulat in the 20th minute of the match. In the 24th match minute, Aposdorf was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Valeriu Purcărete to maneuver through the defense. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Vintilă Negrilă during the 28th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 28 played minutes Virsag UFC got a freekick which was hit by Vintilă Negrilă. Cristinel Petre made a fantastic save in the 31st minute, when Mădălin Alamaru sent off a good shot on target. When Ovidiu Păunescu fell near the penalty area in the 33rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Aposdorf's protests and gave Ovidiu Păunescu a yellow card for diving instead. In the 34th minute, Ovidiu Păunescu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The supporters of Virsag UFC booed when Aposdorf was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 36 match minutes in a wonderful position. Olimpiu Balțoi didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 41st minute Liviu Ştef shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cătălin Bădulescu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Vlad Stroia during the 42nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 44th minute of the match, Mădălin Alamaru got a very nice opportunity to score, but Cristinel Petre was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

An unexpectedly hard shot by Sabin Dărăscu in the 60th minute of play forced Aposdorf's goalkeeper Cristinel Petre to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Vintilă Negrilă made in the 64th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Pavel Nițisor. In the 65th minute Niculae Hârșu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cristinel Petre saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 67 minutes into the match, Aposdorf's goal looked a bit too open when Petre Stratulat came free, but Cristinel Petre reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Sebastian Borza sent away a hard shot on goal in the 69th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. A collision led to Virsag UFC getting a freekick after 73 minutes play. Vintilă Negrilă hit a great ball. Cristian Niculescu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 77th minute. Cătălin Bădulescu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 80th minute Mădălin Alamaru shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cristinel Petre saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
