But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Aristide Vanghelie couldn't finish the play. Vintilă Negrilă's shot from long distance was a real pearl which went to the right and just passed Pavel Bălcescu - 2-2 was put on the score board in the 92nd minute. Petrică Pancu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 97th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal.
