Cezar Frențiu had in the 17thth minute some difficulties stopping Marcu Romoşan's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. The Gelu CS fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Gelu CS eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
