Iepuresti CF's Narcis Jucu proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 25th minute of the match, managed to save Iepuresti CF from getting a goal against them. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 27th minute of the game. One of Cismanesti:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Iepuresti CF:s goal. Olimpiu Creteanu shot the penalty kick right outside the post. Narcis Jucu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Iustin Halipa, who was totally free with the ball in the 32nd minute. Iulian Murgu made in the 36th minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Aurel Zdrenghea however managed to control. 38 minutes into the game, Aurel Zdrenghea cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Cismanesti's Iustin Halipa got a good chance for a goal in the 43rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 47 minutes into the game, Iepuresti CF's Călin Burghelea nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Sabin Isărescu made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-2. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-2.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Dacian Şneapotă made a kick off. With a little luck, Cismanesti's Sabin Isărescu got control of the ball when Remus Oproiu tried to sneak it across the goal line. Cismanesti's supporters crossed their fingers, but Iustin Halipa was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Narcis Jucu came out of the goal in the 96th minute to try and stop a shot by Cismanesti's Iustin Halipa. But to his dismay, Iustin Halipa quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-2. Neither set of supporters seemed pleased with the draw, but both teams had played equally well today.
