Olimpiu Creteanu hit a great ball. After 16 played minutes Cherba got a freekick which was hit by Virgil Brădescu. If Dacian Şneapotă had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 24 minutes into the match, Iepuresti CF's Dacian Şneapotă sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Dumitru Mardarescu narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Dumitru Mardarescu stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Dacian Şneapotă's shot from short distance in the 57th minute. In the 59th minute, Aurel Zdrenghea made a precise shot to the right of Dumitru Mardarescu. Cherba's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. After 62 minutes, Iacob Trăilă mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Cherba and the Iepuresti CF players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Iepuresti CF booed when Cherba was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 63 match minutes in a wonderful position. Iacob Trăilă didn't get a good kick on the ball. Dumitru Mardarescu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dacian Şneapotă in the 63rd minute of play. After a rather tough play, Cherba's Iacob Trăilă got a free kick in the 64th minute. Nicolae Secoşan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 68th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Narcis Jucu having to interfere. Dumitru Mardarescu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dacian Şneapotă in the 72nd minute of the match. Iepuresti CF's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
