Seating: 1762, VIP seats: 100) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Marcel Codreanu took the kick off in the first half of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Damian Țepelea in the 2nd minute of play forced Gelu CS's goalkeeper Moise Căplescu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Iustin Halipa came up free with the goalie in the 7th minute, the Cismanesti fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Iustin Halipa couldn't finish the play. Iustin Halipa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 10th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Sabin Isărescu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marian Stoicescu in the 15th minute of play. Damian Țepelea fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Moise Căplescu having to interfere. Moise Căplescu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Victor Craia in the 27th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 32nd minute, Iustin Halipa managed to get in a good position for a shot. Cismanesti's supporters rose to their feet, but Iustin Halipa was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Moise Căplescu breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Iustin Halipa took the ball and in the 39 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Moise Căplescu. Moise Căplescu dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. Iustin Halipa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 45th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Damian Țepelea made a kick off. 52 minutes into the match, Gelu CS's goal looked a bit too open when Damian Țepelea came free, but Moise Căplescu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 54th minute, Damian Țepelea made a precise shot to the right of Moise Căplescu. Gelu CS's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-0. In the 59th minute, Damian Țepelea ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Moise Căplescu was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-0. If Damian Țepelea had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 66 played minutes Cismanesti got a freekick which was hit by Damian Țepelea. Marian Stoicescu could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 67th minute of the match, but Sabin Isărescu made a huge save. After a rather tough play, Gelu CS's Vali Angheluță got a free kick in the 71st minute. 71 minutes into the match, Gelu CS's goal looked a bit too open when Damian Țepelea came free, but Moise Căplescu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 74th minute, Iustin Halipa got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Moise Căplescu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Damian Țepelea, who was totally free with the ball in the 78th minute. A collision led to Gelu CS getting a freekick after 88 minutes play. Eliodor Lupea hit a great ball.
