Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Crunti's Toader Dănciulescu started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Vintilă Bejgăneanu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Toader Dănciulescu, who was totally free with the ball in the 4th minute. Toader Dănciulescu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 9th minute. Vintilă Bejgăneanu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 11 minutes into the match, Crunti's Toader Dănciulescu sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Vintilă Bejgăneanu narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 17th minute the ball was on its way in behind Stiinta's goalkeeper Vintilă Bejgăneanu, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Vintilă Bejgăneanu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Toader Dănciulescu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Toader Dănciulescu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Crunti's Toader Dănciulescu got a good chance for a goal in the 23rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Sorin Moga received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 25th minute. Vintilă Bejgăneanu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Vintilă Bejgăneanu made a fantastic save in the 28th minute, when Sorin Moga sent off a good shot on target. If Sorin Moga had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Vintilă Bejgăneanu came out of the goal in the 32nd minute to try and stop a shot by Crunti's Toader Dănciulescu. But to his dismay, Toader Dănciulescu quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. Sorin Moga sent away a hard shot on goal in the 39th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The audience thought a goal was coming when Sorin Moga got free with Vintilă Bejgăneanu in the 47th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

An unexpectedly hard shot by Paul Slătineanu in the 52nd minute of play forced Stiinta's goalkeeper Vintilă Bejgăneanu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Narcis Stârcea kicked well hit freekick during the 54th minute of the match. When Crunti's Toader Dănciulescu in the 57th minute got a chance for a shot 57th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Stiinta's goalie prevented a goal. If Toader Dănciulescu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. When Toader Dănciulescu came up free with the goalie in the 65th minute, the Crunti fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Toader Dănciulescu couldn't finish the play. In the 66thth minute of the game Sorin Moga who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Stiinta's Vintilă Bejgăneanu was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sorin Moga in the 68th minute of play forced Stiinta's goalkeeper Vintilă Bejgăneanu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Crunti's Emanuel Săvescu proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 71st minute of the match, managed to save Crunti from getting a goal against them. The audience was convinced that Sorin Moga's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Vintilă Bejgăneanu was relentless in the 73rd minute of the game. After 75 played minutes, Crunti's Avram Boșneag shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Vintilă Bejgăneanu came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Crunti reached it. Panait Popoiu's late challenge caught a Crunti's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Panait Popoiu helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Stiinta's Panait Popoiu got a free kick in the 77th minute. After recieving a nice pass, Crunti's Avram Boșneag tried to score from far away in the 78th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Victor Neaga charged in rather forcefully in the 80th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Victor Neaga the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In a very dangerous position, a player in Stiinta fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 80th minute. Penalty! 84 minutes into the match, Stiinta's goal looked a bit too open when Toader Dănciulescu came free, but Vintilă Bejgăneanu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 86 played minutes Stiinta got a freekick which was hit by Panait Popoiu. Crunti's Avram Boșneag couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 87th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Stiinta. After a defensive mix-up in Stiinta's zone, Sorin Moga stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Vintilă Bejgăneanu came out of the goal and Sorin Moga tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Toader Dănciulescu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 95th minute. Vintilă Bejgăneanu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Crunti walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
