Spectators: 7534 (Terracing: 5652, Seating: 1732, VIP seats: 150) 3 minutes into the match, Iepuresti CF's Dacian Şneapotă sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Teodor Firu narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 5th minute the ball was on its way in behind FC Bucuresti's goalkeeper Teodor Firu, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 8th minute Dacian Şneapotă shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Teodor Firu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 14th minute the ball was on its way in behind FC Bucuresti's goalkeeper Teodor Firu, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The Iepuresti CF fans' excitement grew in the 15th match minute when Iepuresti CF's Aurel Zdrenghea looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. FC Bucuresti's Teodor Firu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dacian Şneapotă in the 24th minute of play. Dacian Şneapotă was extremely unlucky when he, in the 26th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. Aurel Zdrenghea received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 30th minute. Teodor Firu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Dacian Şneapotă had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Teodor Firu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dacian Şneapotă, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Dacian Şneapotă fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Teodor Firu having to interfere. When Dacian Şneapotă came up free with the goalie in the 43rd minute, the Iepuresti CF fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Dacian Şneapotă couldn't finish the play. After 46 played minutes FC Bucuresti got a freekick which was hit by Silviu Chibulcutean. After recieving a nice pass, Iepuresti CF's Olimpiu Creteanu tried to score from far away in the 47th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Dacian Şneapotă was the one to do the kick off. Remus Oproiu struck a weak shot in the 54th minute. Teodor Firu didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Iepuresti CF. 59 minutes into the game, Aurel Zdrenghea cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-0. Teodor Firu was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 66th minute, Dacian Şneapotă ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Teodor Firu was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-0. Aurel Zdrenghea received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 70th minute. Teodor Firu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the match clock showed 73 minutes, the score became 4-0 when Aurel Zdrenghea sped through FC Bucuresti's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Teodor Firu. Aurel Zdrenghea blasted a shot towards the goal in the 77th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Teodor Firu having to make a save. Teodor Firu came out of the goal in the 80th minute to try and stop a shot by Iepuresti CF's Aurel Zdrenghea. But to his dismay, Aurel Zdrenghea quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 5-0. Horaţiu Crușeveanu's late challenge caught a Iepuresti CF's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Horaţiu Crușeveanu helped the player get up and apologised. Gavril Iorda hit a great freekick 93 minutes into the match. When Aurel Zdrenghea came up free with the goalie in the 95th minute, the Iepuresti CF fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Aurel Zdrenghea couldn't finish the play. In the 96thth minute of the game Dacian Şneapotă who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but FC Bucuresti's Teodor Firu was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Iepuresti CF had played much better football throughout.
