The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ernest Biriș helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Cismanesti booed when Liverpool Academy was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 6 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ernest Biriș didn't get a good kick on the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Damian Țepelea in the 8th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ivan Tilincă saved Liverpool Academy from getting behind. In the 11th minute Damian Țepelea shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ivan Tilincă saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ivan Tilincă made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Iustin Halipa in the 15th minute of play. Ilie Tutunaru kicked well hit freekick during the 16th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Liverpool Academy's zone, Damian Țepelea stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ivan Tilincă came out of the goal and Damian Țepelea tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 18th minute, Iustin Halipa ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ivan Tilincă was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Iustin Halipa recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 23rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Damian Țepelea sent away a hard shot on goal in the 24th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ionuț Banciu kicked well hit freekick during the 27th minute of the match. Ilie Tutunaru took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 28th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Sabin Isărescu. Cismanesti's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Ivan Tilincă took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Iustin Halipa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ivan Tilincă came out of the goal in the 32nd minute to try and stop a shot by Cismanesti's Damian Țepelea. But to his dismay, Damian Țepelea quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. 37 minutes into the game, Cismanesti's Damian Țepelea nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Ivan Tilincă made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-3. After some fancy dribbling in the 41st minute, Iustin Halipa managed to get in a good position for a shot. Cismanesti's supporters rose to their feet, but Iustin Halipa was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ivan Tilincă breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Damian Țepelea made a kick off. If Iustin Halipa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Iustin Halipa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 62nd minute. Ivan Tilincă tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Damian Țepelea might have been able to make a better finish in the 63rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Ivan Tilincă. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Damian Țepelea ran back to his position shaking his head. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Iordache Ciprian during the 66th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Radu Rogozanu kicked well hit freekick during the 71st minute of the match. Damian Țepelea who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 73rdth minute tested the skills of Ivan Tilincă when he managed to save the team from getting behind. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lucrețiu Carabulea in the 75th minute of play forced Cismanesti's goalkeeper Sabin Isărescu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Iustin Halipa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 76th minute. Ivan Tilincă tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpected shot in the 78th minute by Damian Țepelea got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. In the 79th minute Cismanesti were awarded a corner. Cristian Dragomiroiu went to the cornerflag to take it. Cismanesti's Manole Gheondea was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Ivan Tilincă in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Damian Țepelea sent away a hard shot on goal in the 81st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Damian Țepelea took the ball and in the 88 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ivan Tilincă. Ivan Tilincă dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-5. Damian Țepelea scored 0-6 in the 92nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Ivan Tilincă, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The Liverpool Academy fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Cismanesti were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
