After 19 minutes, Mihail Pantelimon mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Cherba and the FC BEBI players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Cherba getting a freekick after 19 minutes play. Mihail Pantelimon hit a great ball. FC BEBI's Gabriel Harnagea played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nicolae Secoşan in the 32nd minute of play. Mihail Pantelimon sent away a hard shot on goal in the 38th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 53rd minute of the match Cosmin Magheran shot from a long distance. Gabriel Harnagea took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mihail Pantelimon, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 58 played minutes, FC BEBI's Ilie Sârbu shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Dumitru Mardarescu came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in FC BEBI reached it. After having played for 61 minutes, Mihail Pantelimon managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Cherba's supporters crossed their fingers, but Mihail Pantelimon was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 63rd minute, Nicolae Secoşan got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Dumitru Mardarescu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mircea Burtescu, who was totally free with the ball in the 73rd minute. If Mihail Pantelimon had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 76 minutes into the game, Iacob Trăilă was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Cherba's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave FC BEBI the free kick. After a rather tough play, FC BEBI's Rareș Ciolofan got a free kick in the 79th minute. Mihail Pantelimon recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 80th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a rather tough play, Cherba's Gigi Mușătescu got a free kick in the 83rd minute. Ilie Sârbu took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 84th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Dumitru Mardarescu. Cherba's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. After 85 minutes of play Cherba's Iacob Trăilă was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. Iacob Trăilă kicked well hit freekick during the 86th minute of the match. Gabriel Harnagea made an important save on a dangerous shot by Nicolae Secoşan in the 89th minute. After a rather tough play, Cherba's Virgil Brădescu got a free kick in the 91st minute. After recieving a nice pass, FC BEBI's Ilie Sârbu tried to score from far away in the 92nd minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. The supporters of FC BEBI booed when Cherba was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 93 match minutes in a wonderful position. Virgil Brădescu didn't get a good kick on the ball. 98 minutes into the match, FC BEBI's Petru Dijmărescu sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Dumitru Mardarescu narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
