Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Marcel Codreanu made the kick off and thus started the match. The audience was convinced that Marcel Codreanu's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Emanuel Săvescu was relentless in the 3rd minute of the game. Sorin Moga could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 11th minute of the match, but Moise Căplescu made a huge save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Marcel Codreanu in the 14th minute of play forced Crunti's goalkeeper Emanuel Săvescu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 15th minute, Sorin Moga got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. A collision led to Crunti getting a freekick after 17 minutes play. Dacian Iorga hit a great ball. Emanuel Săvescu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Marcu Romoşan, who was totally free with the ball in the 18th minute. Marcu Romoşan shot the penalty kick right outside the post. Gelu CS's Eliodor Lupea got a good chance for a goal in the 27th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 28 played minutes Gelu CS got a freekick which was hit by Vali Angheluță. Sorin Moga charged in rather forcefully in the 29th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Sorin Moga the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Gelu CS booed when Crunti was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 29 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sorin Moga didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 30 minutes, Avram Boșneag mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Crunti and the Gelu CS players grew even worse after the yellow card. With a little luck, Gelu CS's Moise Căplescu got control of the ball when Sorin Moga tried to sneak it across the goal line. A collision led to Crunti getting a freekick after 39 minutes play. Paul Slătineanu hit a great ball. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Toader Dănciulescu stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Marcel Codreanu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 53rd minute. Emanuel Săvescu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Horaţiu Pop hit a great freekick 56 minutes into the match. When Crunti's Sorin Moga in the 58th minute got a chance for a shot 58th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Gelu CS's goalie prevented a goal. If Sorin Moga had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 66thth minute of the game Toader Dănciulescu who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Gelu CS's Moise Căplescu was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After 70 played minutes, Crunti's Avram Boșneag shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Moise Căplescu came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Crunti reached it. In the 72nd minute, Eliodor Lupea left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Gelu CS fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-3. After 85 played minutes Crunti got a freekick which was hit by Paul Slătineanu. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Sorin Moga in the 96th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Moise Căplescu prevented the ball from getting in the gole.
