The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Iordache Ciprian was the one to do the kick off. In the 55th minute, Valentin Topală hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 57 played minutes, Gelu CS's Marcu Romoşan shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Ivan Tilincă came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. In the 61st minute, Horaţiu Pop got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Marcu Romoşan took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 68th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Ivan Tilincă. Liverpool Academy's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. After some careless play in the Liverpool Academy defense, Eliodor Lupea kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ivan Tilincă. The Liverpool Academy fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ivan Tilincă should have stopped the shot. In the 73rd minute, Cazimir Pușcariu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a defensive mix-up in Gelu CS's zone, Iordache Ciprian stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Moise Căplescu came out of the goal and Iordache Ciprian tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Marcel Codreanu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 81st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ivan Tilincă showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eliodor Lupea, who was totally free with the ball in the 85th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Marcel Codreanu in the 88th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ivan Tilincă saved Liverpool Academy from getting behind. Ivan Tilincă took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Marcel Codreanu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Marcel Codreanu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 94th minute. Ivan Tilincă tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Eliodor Lupea sent away a hard shot on goal in the 96th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, Liverpool Academy's Lucrețiu Carabulea got a free kick in the 98th minute. Gelu CS's Marcu Romoşan couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 99th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Liverpool Academy. Gelu CS's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
