An unexpectedly hard shot by Marcel Codreanu in the 43rd minute of play forced FC Bucuresti's goalkeeper Teodor Firu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Eliodor Lupea received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 45th minute. Teodor Firu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, FC Bucuresti's Silviu Chibulcutean got a free kick in the 46th minute. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Marcel Codreanu couldn't finish the play.
