Gabriel Harnagea didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Dacian Crașovan went, in the 5th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Gabriel Harnagea took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dacian Crașovan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Cyprus Hools's Dacian Crașovan in the 9th minute got a chance for a shot 9th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye FC BEBI's goalie prevented a goal. In the 12th minute Claudiu Comișel shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gabriel Harnagea saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Claudiu Comișel received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 16th minute. Gabriel Harnagea tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Claudiu Comișel scored 0-2 in the 18th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Gabriel Harnagea, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After having played for 25 minutes, Petru Dijmărescu managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FC BEBI's supporters crossed their fingers, but Petru Dijmărescu was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Mircea Burtescu's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Cezar Frențiu read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 26th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 31st minute, Dacian Crașovan managed to get in a good position for a shot. Cyprus Hools's supporters rose to their feet, but Dacian Crașovan was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Gabriel Harnagea breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Dacian Crașovan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 33rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a defensive mix-up in Cyprus Hools's zone, Rareș Ciolofan stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Cezar Frențiu came out of the goal and Rareș Ciolofan tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Petru Dijmărescu got free with Cezar Frențiu in the 38th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Cezar Frențiu was out of position in the 40 minute of play, and Mircea Burtescu capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Mircea Burtescu really showed his touch with that goal: 1-2. If Dacian Crașovan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After the first half Cyprus Hools were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Dacian Crașovan was the one to do the kick off. Gabriel Harnagea showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dacian Crașovan in the 52nd minute of the match. Iustin Drăgan hit a great freekick 54 minutes into the match. Dacian Crașovan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gabriel Harnagea having to interfere. With a little luck, FC BEBI's Gabriel Harnagea got control of the ball when Claudiu Comișel tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 58 played minutes FC BEBI got a freekick which was hit by Calistrat Iuzbașa. Cyprus Hools's Cezar Frențiu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Petru Dijmărescu in the 64th minute of play. Dacian Crașovan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 70th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Dacian Crașovan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 72nd minute. Gabriel Harnagea tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Alexandru Baldovinescu hit a great freekick 75 minutes into the match. Cezar Frențiu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ilie Sârbu in the 76th minute of the match. Cezar Frențiu didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Mircea Burtescu went, in the 77th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-2 was the resulting score. When Petru Dijmărescu came up free with the goalie in the 82nd minute, the FC BEBI fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Petru Dijmărescu couldn't finish the play. In the 89thth minute of the game Mircea Burtescu who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Cyprus Hools's Cezar Frențiu was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Dacian Crașovan struck a weak shot in the 92nd minute. Gabriel Harnagea didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Cyprus Hools. Mircea Burtescu recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 93rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Dacian Crașovan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gabriel Harnagea having to interfere. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
