Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dinu Meleșcanu started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Maxim Boerescu hit a great freekick 2 minutes into the match. Dinu Meleșcanu got in the 3rd a clear chance and fired away a hard shot against goal, but Adam Troncotă handled the situation perfectly and made a save by the crossbar. In the 8th minute, Octav Şerb got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Adam Troncotă didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Octav Şerb went, in the 11th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. When Iacob Balaban came up free with the goalie in the 20th minute, the JIU PETROSANI fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Iacob Balaban couldn't finish the play. Dinu Meleșcanu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 26th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ilie Nicorici blasted a shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Francisc Ghișerel having to make a save. In the 40th minute, Maxim Boerescu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After recieving a nice pass, Andronache's Ernest Darabonț tried to score from far away in the 41st minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Octav Şerb fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Adam Troncotă having to interfere. JIU PETROSANI's Adam Troncotă played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dinu Meleșcanu in the 47th minute of play.

After 51 played minutes JIU PETROSANI got a freekick which was hit by Iacob Balaban. Adam Troncotă showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dinu Meleșcanu, who was totally free with the ball in the 54th minute. With a little luck, JIU PETROSANI's Adam Troncotă got control of the ball when Octav Şerb tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 57 minutes, Stelian Nechifor mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the JIU PETROSANI and the Andronache players grew even worse after the yellow card. The referee felt a red card was in order, 60 minutes into the game, when Radu Donecea put in a rough tackle. In a very dangerous position, a player in JIU PETROSANI fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 59th minute. Penalty! In the 65th minute, Dinu Meleșcanu fired away a hard free kick towards the goal. Adam Troncotă moved to his left, but didn't have to make a save as the ball went out of bounds. 69 minutes into the game, Eric Dancu was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Andronache's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave JIU PETROSANI the free kick. If Octav Şerb had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Octav Şerb got in the 77th a clear chance and fired away a hard shot against goal, but Adam Troncotă handled the situation perfectly and made a save by the crossbar. In the 78th minute, Iacob Balaban hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A hard shot by Ernest Darabonț from long distance, 79 minutes into the match, got Adam Troncotă's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. Octav Şerb received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 85th minute. Adam Troncotă tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 87 played minutes Andronache got a freekick which was hit by Eric Dancu. If Octav Şerb had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Adam Troncotă made a fantastic save in the 91st minute, when Octav Şerb sent off a good shot on target. With a little luck, JIU PETROSANI's Adam Troncotă got control of the ball when Octav Şerb tried to sneak it across the goal line. The JIU PETROSANI fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Andronache were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
