Spectators: 6730 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1730, VIP seats: 0) CIP Media's Laurențiu Abutnăriței started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Sorin Lemnaru received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 3rd minute. Viorel Senin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Gheorghe Cercelescu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 6th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Iustin Macovei took the ball and in the 10 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Aristide Ceaușu. Aristide Ceaușu dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Iustin Macovei's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Aristide Ceaușu read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 14th minute of play. Viorel Senin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gheorghe Cercelescu in the 15th minute of the match. After 16 played minutes Hinova AC got a freekick which was hit by Sorin Lemnaru. The supporters of CIP Media booed when Hinova AC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 18 match minutes in a wonderful position. Vlad Macavei didn't get a good kick on the ball. Iustin Macovei fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Aristide Ceaușu having to interfere. After 22 minutes, Remus Ţiţeica mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Hinova AC and the CIP Media players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 21st minute, one of Hinova AC:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Hinova AC. The supporters of CIP Media booed when Hinova AC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 27 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mihail Dinu didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a rather tough play, Hinova AC's Damian Nicodim got a free kick in the 29th minute. 30 minutes into the match, CIP Media's Valer Coman broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. In the 32nd minute, Laurențiu Abutnăriței ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Aristide Ceaușu was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-3. Dan Barbăsură hit a great freekick 34 minutes into the match. Aristide Ceaușu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Iustin Macovei in the 38th minute of the match. Dorel Ştefănescu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 39th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. CIP Media's supporters rose to their feet, but Laurențiu Abutnăriței was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Aristide Ceaușu breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-3 lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Gheorghe Cercelescu to make the kick off. Iustin Macovei struck a weak shot in the 54th minute. Aristide Ceaușu didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for CIP Media. The CIP Media fans' excitement grew in the 55th match minute when CIP Media's Iustin Macovei looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-4 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. An unexpectedly hard shot by Laurențiu Abutnăriței in the 62nd minute of play forced Hinova AC's goalkeeper Aristide Ceaușu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to Hinova AC getting a freekick after 66 minutes play. Gheorghe Cercelescu hit a great ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Iustin Macovei got free with Aristide Ceaușu in the 67th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Iustin Macovei received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 73rd minute. Aristide Ceaușu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Aristide Ceaușu made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-6. In the 94th minute of the match Mădălin Moculescu shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Aristide Ceaușu showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. CIP Media played a much better game than Hinova AC and deserved their victory. The Hinova AC players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
