In the 4th minute, Andrei Rădoi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When the match clock showed 6 minutes, the score became 1-0 when Vintilă Siclovan sped through Gogora's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Ioan Tolea. Florin Borogeanu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fabian Milea in the 10th minute of play. Andrei Rădoi struck a weak shot in the 17th minute. Florin Borogeanu didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Gogora. When Denis Surugiu came up free with the goalie in the 22nd minute, the FC Dinamo 1948 fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Denis Surugiu couldn't finish the play. If Andrei Rădoi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Florin Borogeanu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fabian Milea, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Fabian Milea received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 38th minute. Florin Borogeanu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Iosif Frântu kicked well hit freekick during the 39th minute of the match. Fabian Milea fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Florin Borogeanu having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Andrei Rădoi in the 47th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Florin Borogeanu prevented the ball from getting in the gole. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Fabian Milea stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Andrei Rădoi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 51st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Florin Borogeanu having to interfere. Fabian Milea recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 54th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Ioan Tolea stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Denis Surugiu's shot from short distance in the 56th minute. Vintilă Siclovan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ioan Tolea having to interfere. Andrei Rădoi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 65th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The audience was convinced that Fabian Milea's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Florin Borogeanu was relentless in the 66th minute of the game. Vintilă Siclovan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 68th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ioan Tolea having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Denis Surugiu in the 69th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ioan Tolea prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 72 minutes into the match, Andrei Rădoi had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Florin Borogeanu. FC Dinamo 1948's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Andrei Rădoi was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1. Andrei Rădoi recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 92nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. FC Dinamo 1948 had won after a very even match.
