Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Constantin Homescu started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Nistor Dobre took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gheorghe Otopeanu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Constantin Homescu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nae Bucurescu having to interfere. The supporters of Cioroboreni booed when Budieni was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 18 match minutes in a wonderful position. Claudiu Chirea didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 22nd minute Constantin Homescu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nae Bucurescu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Cioroboreni's Martin Ispirescu got a free kick in the 23rd minute. Constantin Homescu recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 24th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Constantin Homescu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nae Bucurescu having to interfere. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The wind increased when Aristide Durbac made the kick off in the second half. Nae Bucurescu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Constantin Homescu in the 52nd minute of play. Nae Bucurescu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fabian Mincu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 55 minutes into the game, Constantin Homescu cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Nae Bucurescu was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The audience thought a goal was coming when Gheorghe Otopeanu got free with Nistor Dobre in the 59th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Budieni's Constantin Homescu got a good chance for a goal in the 61st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When Stelian Andreescu fell near the penalty area in the 61st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Cioroboreni's protests and gave Stelian Andreescu a yellow card for diving instead. After 61 played minutes Cioroboreni got a freekick which was hit by Stelian Andreescu. Budieni's Marian Dulca couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Cioroboreni. A collision led to Cioroboreni getting a freekick after 63 minutes play. Mugurel Grigoroiu hit a great ball. 65 minutes into the match, Cioroboreni's goal looked a bit too open when Fabian Mincu came free, but Nae Bucurescu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Fabian Mincu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Martin Ispirescu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 73rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Fabian Mincu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 75th minute. Nae Bucurescu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Stelian Andreescu hit a great freekick 76 minutes into the match. Nae Bucurescu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Constantin Homescu in the 77th minute of play. The crowd rose to their feet as Cioroboreni's Aristide Durbac slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Nistor Dobre. That made the score 1-1 after 79 minutes of play. 83 minutes into the match, Cioroboreni's goal looked a bit too open when Fabian Mincu came free, but Nae Bucurescu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 84th minute, Constantin Homescu managed to get in a good position for a shot. Budieni's supporters rose to their feet, but Constantin Homescu was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Nae Bucurescu breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Gheorghe Otopeanu recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 94th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Fabian Mincu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nae Bucurescu having to interfere.
