The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. The audience was convinced that Fabian Milea's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Tudor Martin was relentless in the 3rd minute of the game. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Alin Turcan during the 4th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, FCSB CLUJ's Alin Turcan got a free kick in the 4th minute. 11 minutes into the match, FCSB CLUJ's goal looked a bit too open when Sebastian Mihele came free, but Tudor Martin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Tudor Martin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dumitru Oancea in the 16th minute of play. After 16 minutes of play, Gogora's Dumitru Oancea made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Tudor Martin was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 22nd minute, Dumitru Oancea left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Gogora fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. Tudor Martin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fabian Milea, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Fabian Milea struck a weak shot in the 28th minute. Tudor Martin didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Gogora. An unexpectedly hard shot by Flavius Ionete in the 30th minute of play forced FCSB CLUJ's goalkeeper Tudor Martin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 31 minutes into the match, Dumitru Oancea notched a goal, 0-3, to the right of FCSB CLUJ's Tudor Martin. Tudor Martin was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. FCSB CLUJ's Horea Senin quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Flavius Ionete, made in the 35th minute of the game. FCSB CLUJ's Tudor Martin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Andrei Rădoi in the 37th minute of play. Andrei Rădoi took the ball and in the 40 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Tudor Martin. Tudor Martin dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-4. Tudor Martin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Andrei Rădoi in the 46th minute of the match. Tudor Martin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Andrei Rădoi in the 46th minute of play. After some careless play in the FCSB CLUJ defense, Fabian Milea kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Tudor Martin. The FCSB CLUJ fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Tudor Martin should have stopped the shot. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-5 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Fabian Milea to make the kick off. After a rather tough play, Gogora's Dumitru Oancea got a free kick in the 53rd minute. FCSB CLUJ's Augustin Ştercă got a good chance for a goal in the 55th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Tudor Martin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fabian Milea in the 57th minute of play. Augustin Ştercă sent away a hard shot on goal in the 62nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. FCSB CLUJ's Tudor Martin proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 65th minute of the match, managed to save FCSB CLUJ from getting a goal against them. The audience thought a goal was coming when Sebastian Mihele got free with Tudor Martin in the 68th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 75th match minute, FCSB CLUJ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dinu Bejgăneanu to maneuver through the defense. After some fancy dribbling in the 76th minute, Mircea Lopatnicu managed to get in a good position for a shot. Gogora's supporters rose to their feet, but Mircea Lopatnicu was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Tudor Martin breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Tudor Martin came out of the goal in the 77th minute to try and stop a shot by Gogora's Andrei Rădoi. But to his dismay, Andrei Rădoi quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-6. The crowd rose to their feet as Gogora's Fabian Milea slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Tudor Martin. That made the score 0-7 after 81 minutes of play. 84 minutes into the match, FCSB CLUJ's goal looked a bit too open when Fabian Milea came free, but Tudor Martin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Flavius Ionete made in the 87th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by FCSB CLUJ's Dinu Bejgăneanu. Valentin Manolescu fired away a difficult shot at goal in the 89th minute. He almost succeeded, but the ball went over. It was a very nice shot. In the 90th match minute, FCSB CLUJ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Calistrat Cârneci to maneuver through the defense. Tudor Martin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fabian Milea in the 91st minute of the match. Sebastian Mihele scored 0-8 in the 92nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Tudor Martin, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 97 minutes into the match, FCSB CLUJ's goalkeeper Tudor Martin had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Andrei Rădoi. Andrei Rădoi succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 0-9 in the 98th playminute. The FCSB CLUJ supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Gogora's performance. The match ended with a win for Gogora.
