In the 13th minute Francisc Nicolae shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Florin Borogeanu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Cazimir Fundătoreanu came up free with the goalie in the 19th minute, the U Craiova David TM 2013 fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Cazimir Fundătoreanu couldn't finish the play. In the 26th match minute, U Craiova David TM 2013 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by David Albu to maneuver through the defense. Octav Movileanu made an important save on a dangerous shot by Vintilă Siclovan in the 30th minute. The supporters of FC Dinamo 1948 booed when U Craiova David TM 2013 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 32 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cristi Jecu didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 44th minute, Denis Surugiu managed to get in a good position for a shot. FC Dinamo 1948's supporters rose to their feet, but Denis Surugiu was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Octav Movileanu breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Denis Surugiu made a kick off. When Vintilă Siclovan came up free with the goalie in the 52nd minute, the FC Dinamo 1948 fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Vintilă Siclovan couldn't finish the play. When FC Dinamo 1948's Denis Surugiu in the 54th minute got a chance for a shot 54th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. After having played for 63 minutes, Vintilă Siclovan managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FC Dinamo 1948's supporters crossed their fingers, but Vintilă Siclovan was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Octav Movileanu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Teodor Vulcan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cazimir Fundătoreanu in the 68th minute of play forced FC Dinamo 1948's goalkeeper Florin Borogeanu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience was convinced that Denis Surugiu's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Octav Movileanu was relentless in the 71st minute of the game. 2-0 became the score in the 72nd minute when Vintilă Siclovan elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Denis Surugiu in the 76th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Octav Movileanu saved U Craiova David TM 2013 from getting behind. Vintilă Siclovan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 77th minute. Octav Movileanu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After having played for 81 minutes, Vintilă Siclovan managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FC Dinamo 1948's supporters crossed their fingers, but Vintilă Siclovan was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 82nd minute, Vintilă Siclovan ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Octav Movileanu was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-0. During the 88th minute of the match David Albu completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave David Albu a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. After 89 played minutes U Craiova David TM 2013 got a freekick which was hit by David Albu. When Denis Surugiu came up free with the goalie in the 91st minute, the FC Dinamo 1948 fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Denis Surugiu couldn't finish the play. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. FC Dinamo 1948 had played much better football throughout.
