Spectators: 7523 (Terracing: 5643, Seating: 1730, VIP seats: 150) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Aristide Durbac kicked off to start the match. Nae Bucurescu came out of the goal in the 8th minute to try and stop a shot by Lotasi AC's Vali Pipirig. But to his dismay, Vali Pipirig quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. After some fancy dribbling in the 12th minute, Stelian Andreescu managed to get in a good position for a shot. Cioroboreni's supporters rose to their feet, but Stelian Andreescu was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Claudiu Agrigoroaiei breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Aristide Durbac might have been able to make a better finish in the 14th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Claudiu Agrigoroaiei. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Aristide Durbac ran back to his position shaking his head. After 16 played minutes Lotasi AC got a freekick which was hit by Dragoş Cismaș. 17 minutes into the match, Lotasi AC's goal looked a bit too open when Horea Baldovin came free, but Claudiu Agrigoroaiei reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 19th minute, Martin Ispirescu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 22nd minute, Vali Pipirig got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. With a little luck, Lotasi AC's Claudiu Agrigoroaiei got control of the ball when Gheorghe Otopeanu tried to sneak it across the goal line. Aristide Durbac recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 26th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Vali Pipirig sent away a hard shot on goal in the 30th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Claudiu Agrigoroaiei was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Aristide Durbac showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-1 in the 40 minute of play. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-1 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Valer Tapalagă to make the kick off. With a little luck, Cioroboreni's Nae Bucurescu got control of the ball when Vali Pipirig tried to sneak it across the goal line. Vali Pipirig fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nae Bucurescu having to interfere. If Vali Pipirig had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Petrică Cârnațiu hit a great freekick 64 minutes into the match. Cioroboreni were awarded a corner in the 67th minute after Lotasi AC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Horea Baldovin took the corner. After taking down the ball on Cioroboreni's corner Horea Baldovin fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Claudiu Agrigoroaiei quite easily take care of the ball. Nae Bucurescu was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Valer Tapalagă showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-3 in the 73 minute of play. Nae Bucurescu made a fantastic save in the 78th minute, when Vali Pipirig sent off a good shot on target. 91 minutes into the game, one of Lotasi AC:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Horea Baldovin placed the ball on the penalty spot and got himself ready to shoot. Post out! If Petrică Cârnațiu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The Cioroboreni supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Lotasi AC's performance. The match ended with a win for Lotasi AC.
