Florin Borogeanu made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. After some fancy dribbling in the 19th minute, Vintilă Siclovan managed to get in a good position for a shot. FC Dinamo 1948's supporters rose to their feet, but Vintilă Siclovan was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Claudiu Agrigoroaiei breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Mihnea Mereuță hit a great freekick 23 minutes into the match. Vintilă Siclovan's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Claudiu Agrigoroaiei firmly grabbed it by the left post. If Denis Surugiu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience was convinced that Denis Surugiu's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Claudiu Agrigoroaiei was relentless in the 39th minute of the game. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Denis Surugiu stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After 56 minutes, Petruț Petruț mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the FC Dinamo 1948 and the Lotasi AC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 55 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for FC Dinamo 1948! When Teodor Vulcan came up free with the goalie in the 72nd minute, the FC Dinamo 1948 fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Teodor Vulcan couldn't finish the play. After some fancy dribbling in the 74th minute, Denis Surugiu managed to get in a good position for a shot. FC Dinamo 1948's supporters rose to their feet, but Denis Surugiu was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. FC Dinamo 1948's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
