After 12 minutes of play, FC Steaua Mangalia's Cosmin Budianu made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Octav Movileanu was left in no man's land by his defense there! 15 minutes into the match, U Craiova David TM 2013's Victor Bădiță sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Cazimir Roşoga narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Octav Movileanu came out of the goal in the 20th minute to try and stop a shot by FC Steaua Mangalia's Manuel Zamfira. But to his dismay, Manuel Zamfira quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. After a rather tough play, FC Steaua Mangalia's Tiberiu Ardeleanu got a free kick in the 24th minute. 28 minutes into the game, Cazimir Fundătoreanu lined in a short shot 1-3 behind a frustrated Cazimir Roşoga. After some fancy dribbling in the 31st minute, Cosmin Budianu managed to get in a good position for a shot. FC Steaua Mangalia's supporters rose to their feet, but Cosmin Budianu was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Octav Movileanu breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Manuel Zamfira's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Octav Movileanu read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 32nd minute of play. David Nicolae hit a great freekick 33 minutes into the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 34th minute, Manuel Zamfira managed to get in a good position for a shot. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Cosmin Budianu stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After some fancy dribbling in the 51st minute, Cazimir Fundătoreanu managed to get in a good position for a shot. FC Steaua Mangalia's Cazimir Roşoga played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Victor Bădiță in the 68th minute of play. Victor Bădiță received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 70th minute. Cazimir Roşoga tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 72 minutes, Cazimir Fundătoreanu made it 2-3 with a short kick to the right side.
