When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Felix Bărbânță made a kick off. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Laurențiu Boldișor couldn't finish the play. 60 minutes into the match, 1987 Cartierul Zob's goal looked a bit too open when Dan Gheție came free, but Petruț Cotuțiu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Nicolae Hăulică kicked well hit freekick during the 80th minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Gheorghe Boerescu in the 84th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Petruț Cotuțiu prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Laurențiu Boldișor sent away a hard shot on goal in the 85th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Felix Bărbânță fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Iacob Răduța having to interfere. 1987 Cartierul Zob were delighted with the way they had won the match. They had held their defensive line well and made the most of their chances, to claim a victory over Brestea's much stronger midfield.
