Iulian Costandin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Iustin Macarie, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Iulian Costandin came out of the goal in the 6th minute to try and stop a shot by Nevesteasca's Vali Blăniță. But to his dismay, Vali Blăniță quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. In the 14th minute, Gigi Ichim ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Iulian Costandin was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. If Leonard Macovei had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Leonard Macovei sent away a hard shot on goal in the 23rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Iulian Costandin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from George Alexandru, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 31st minute, Leonard Macovei left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Cermeiu AC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-2. Iustin Macarie blasted a shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Iulian Costandin having to make a save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Vali Blăniță in the 37th minute of play forced Cermeiu AC's goalkeeper Iulian Costandin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When George Alexandru came up free with the goalie in the 41st minute, the Nevesteasca fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that George Alexandru couldn't finish the play. Ionel Ozon kicked well hit freekick during the 42nd minute of the match. Gigi Ichim received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 44th minute. Iulian Costandin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Cermeiu AC's Ilie Oardă got a free kick in the 46th minute. Disappointed in the 1-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Cazimir Lițu made a kick off. A collision led to Cermeiu AC getting a freekick after 51 minutes play. Traian Bungeanu hit a great ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 59th minute, Cazimir Lițu managed to get in a good position for a shot. Cermeiu AC's supporters rose to their feet, but Cazimir Lițu was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Mugur Lucescu breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a rather tough play, Cermeiu AC's Ilie Oardă got a free kick in the 62nd minute. 63 minutes into the match, Cermeiu AC's goalkeeper Iulian Costandin had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Constantin Bianu. Cermeiu AC's Iulian Costandin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Iustin Macarie in the 64th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 72nd minute, Cazimir Lițu managed to get in a good position for a shot. Cermeiu AC's supporters rose to their feet, but Cazimir Lițu was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Mugur Lucescu breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Mugur Lucescu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Leonard Macovei in the 74th minute of play. After 75 minutes of play, Nevesteasca's George Alexandru made it 1-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Iulian Costandin was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 81st minute George Alexandru shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Iulian Costandin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to Cermeiu AC getting a freekick after 87 minutes play. Ilie Oardă hit a great ball. If Gigi Ichim had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Nevesteasca's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
