Spectators: 7499 (Terracing: 5625, Seating: 1725, VIP seats: 149) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Ciprian Cercelescu started the match with the kick off. 5 minutes into the match, Rugonfalva's goal looked a bit too open when Aristide Chevereșan came free, but Fabian Hârciog reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 7 minutes had been played when some careless play by Rugonfalva's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Nicodim Negură was slow to take the kick. During this time Rojistea UFC's players had a chance to rest. An unexpectedly hard shot by Aristide Chevereșan in the 13th minute of play forced Rugonfalva's goalkeeper Fabian Hârciog to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Rugonfalva's Costică Necula in 20 game minutes managed to cut through with the ball in front of the goal, only having to shoot. Călin Buteanu guarding the goal like a pit bull was extremely focused and managed to reach the ball just by the crossbar before it went in. In the 21st match minute, Rugonfalva was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nistor Cioiu to maneuver through the defense. In the 25th minute, one of Rojistea UFC:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Rojistea UFC. The goalkeeper, Călin Buteanu, was totally fooled by Rugonfalva's Francisc Găman, who 27 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. In the 32nd minute, Ciprian Cercelescu made a precise shot to the right of Fabian Hârciog. Rugonfalva's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. Aristide Chevereșan recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 38th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Ciprian Cercelescu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fabian Hârciog having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 47th minute, Aristide Chevereșan managed to get in a good position for a shot. Rojistea UFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Aristide Chevereșan was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Fabian Hârciog breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Ciprian Cercelescu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 48th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Costică Necula made the kick off in the second half. Fabian Hârciog made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ciprian Cercelescu in the 56th minute of play. Rojistea UFC's Călin Buteanu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tiberiu Dobrinescu in the 60th minute of play. Călin Buteanu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Costică Necula in the 65th minute of play. Nistor Cioiu helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Rojistea UFC booed when Rugonfalva was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 82 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nistor Cioiu didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ciprian Cercelescu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 83rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Fabian Hârciog showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ciprian Cercelescu, who was totally free with the ball in the 85th minute. In the 91st minute the ball was on its way in behind Rojistea UFC's goalkeeper Călin Buteanu, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Costică Necula in the 94th minute of play forced Rojistea UFC's goalkeeper Călin Buteanu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Tiberiu Dobrinescu's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Călin Buteanu read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 95th minute of play. If Tiberiu Dobrinescu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 97th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The Rojistea UFC players were the happier at the end of the match as they had prevented Rugonfalva from taking control. The game ends in a draw.
