Nistor Cioiu's late challenge caught a Nevesteasca's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Nistor Cioiu helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Rugonfalva's Nistor Cioiu got a free kick in the 8th minute. An unexpected shot in the 16th minute by Vali Blăniță got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Vali Blăniță's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 18thth minute, Fabian Hârciog skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 19th minute, Iustin Macarie managed to get in a good position for a shot. Nevesteasca's supporters rose to their feet, but Iustin Macarie was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Fabian Hârciog breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 20th minute of the game. One of Rugonfalva:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Nevesteasca:s goal. After having played for 84 minutes, Ernest Lalescu managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Nevesteasca's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ernest Lalescu was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Vali Blăniță sent away a hard shot on goal in the 86th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Fabian Hârciog showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Vali Blăniță, who was totally free with the ball in the 89th minute. George Alexandru blasted a shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Fabian Hârciog having to make a save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Vali Blăniță in the 91st minute of play forced Rugonfalva's goalkeeper Fabian Hârciog to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Chants of Rugonfalva echoed around the stadium as the match drew to a close. Supporters and players were both delighted with the win, as Nevesteasca had held the ball for most of the match.
