Spectators: 7577 (Terracing: 5683, Seating: 1743, VIP seats: 151) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Vali Homeag got the match started through his kick off. 3 minutes into the game, Verbia CS's Vali Homeag nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Călin Buteanu made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. In the 9th minute Vali Homeag shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Călin Buteanu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 11 minutes, Dan Teaşcă mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Rojistea UFC and the Verbia CS players grew even worse after the yellow card. An unexpectedly hard shot by David Manea in the 14th minute of play forced Rojistea UFC's goalkeeper Călin Buteanu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 15thth minute of the game David Manea who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Rojistea UFC's Călin Buteanu was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Călin Buteanu stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Vali Homeag's shot from short distance in the 18th minute. If Aristide Chevereșan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. David Manea's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Călin Buteanu read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 24th minute of play. Călin Buteanu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Vali Homeag in the 26th minute of the match. After 26 minutes of play, Verbia CS's Vali Homeag made it 1-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Călin Buteanu was left in no man's land by his defense there! Vali Homeag sent away a hard shot on goal in the 30th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Lucrețiu Melinte had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Ciprian Cercelescu to make the kick off. The supporters of Rojistea UFC booed when Verbia CS was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 52 match minutes in a wonderful position. Petru Atodiresei didn't get a good kick on the ball. Călin Buteanu made a fantastic save in the 56th minute, when David Manea sent off a good shot on target. An unexpectedly hard shot by Vali Homeag in the 60th minute of play forced Rojistea UFC's goalkeeper Călin Buteanu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Călin Buteanu made an important save on a dangerous shot by Claudiu Nica in the 64th minute. Călin Buteanu made a fantastic save in the 65th minute, when David Manea sent off a good shot on target. David Manea took the ball and in the 67 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Călin Buteanu. Călin Buteanu dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-3. After a defensive mix-up in Rojistea UFC's zone, Vali Homeag stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Călin Buteanu came out of the goal and Vali Homeag tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The audience was convinced that Vali Homeag's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Călin Buteanu was relentless in the 82nd minute of the game. The supporters of Rojistea UFC booed when Verbia CS was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 86 match minutes in a wonderful position. Claudiu Nica didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 88th minute Aristide Chevereșan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ion Cârstea saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 92 minutes into the match, David Manea notched a goal, 1-5, to the right of Rojistea UFC's Călin Buteanu. Călin Buteanu was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 96 minutes into the game, Vali Homeag recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Călin Buteanu. Vali Homeag showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-6. When the final whistle sounded Verbia CS left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Rojistea UFC.
