Frasincea CSS's Francisc Şteflea played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ciprian Cercelescu in the 10th minute of play. Nicolae Buga hit a great freekick 11 minutes into the match. If Ciprian Cercelescu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 13th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ciprian Cercelescu kicked well hit freekick during the 18th minute of the match. The audience was convinced that Aristide Chevereșan's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Francisc Şteflea was relentless in the 21st minute of the game. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Nistor Anghel was the one to do the kick off. Ciprian Cercelescu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 53rd minute. Francisc Şteflea tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Cristinel Panaiteanu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Călin Buteanu having to interfere. 64 minutes into the match, Frasincea CSS's goalkeeper Francisc Şteflea had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Dorel Hapaina. Aristide Chevereșan struck a weak shot in the 83rd minute. Francisc Şteflea didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Rojistea UFC. When Cristinel Panaiteanu was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 84 minutes had been played. Francisc Şteflea made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ciprian Cercelescu in the 86th minute of play. With a little luck, Frasincea CSS's Francisc Şteflea got control of the ball when Aristide Chevereșan tried to sneak it across the goal line. Aristide Chevereșan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 91st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Rojistea UFC had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
