Florin Răcănel showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from George Alexandru, who was totally free with the ball in the 4th minute. Mugur Lucescu stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Călin Chițac's shot from short distance in the 16th minute. Nevesteasca's Vali Blăniță got a good chance for a goal in the 18th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. gNet FC's Florin Răcănel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by George Alexandru in the 20th minute of play. Iustin Macarie charged in rather forcefully in the 21st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Iustin Macarie the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Nevesteasca getting a freekick after 21 minutes play. Iustin Macarie hit a great ball. An unexpected shot in the 26th minute by George Alexandru got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. George Alexandru sent away a hard shot on goal in the 31st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Matei Roșeanu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. George Alexandru received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 36th minute. Florin Răcănel tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers George Alexandru in the 38th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Florin Răcănel saved gNet FC from getting behind. After 40 played minutes gNet FC got a freekick which was hit by Calistrat Corlățean. If George Alexandru had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The wind increased when Călin Chițac made the kick off in the second half. After 52 minutes, George Alexandru made it 1-0 with a short kick to the right side. gNet FC's Florin Răcănel tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. The supporters of Nevesteasca booed when gNet FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 54 match minutes in a wonderful position. Calistrat Corlățean didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Călin Chițac had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 68 minutes of play Nevesteasca's Iustin Macarie was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. Vali Blăniță received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 76th minute. Florin Răcănel tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Nevesteasca's Vali Blăniță has a good shot, but didn't show it this time. The shot went over the crossbar in the 82nd minute. After a defensive mix-up in gNet FC's zone, Vali Blăniță stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Florin Răcănel came out of the goal and Vali Blăniță tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 85th minute, Petruț Micu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Vali Blăniță in the 87th minute of play forced gNet FC's goalkeeper Florin Răcănel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 89th minute, Matei Roșeanu ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Mugur Lucescu was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. In the 93rd minute, Vali Blăniță ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Florin Răcănel was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Nevesteasca fully deserved thier win.
