If Vali Blăniță had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 13th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 16th minute Rareș Dobrica shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mugur Lucescu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Rareș Dobrica sent away a hard shot on goal in the 19th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Mugur Lucescu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rareș Dobrica, who was totally free with the ball in the 21st minute. alcoolica's Lucrețiu Mitescu proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 23rd minute of the match, managed to save alcoolica from getting a goal against them. A collision led to alcoolica getting a freekick after 25 minutes play. Tiberiu Magheran hit a great ball. Claudiu Hristea recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 26th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 28th minute, George Alexandru managed to get in a good position for a shot. Nevesteasca's supporters rose to their feet, but George Alexandru was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Lucrețiu Mitescu breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Vali Blăniță came free with the goalkeeper in the 29th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Lucrețiu Mitescu could save by the left post. After a defensive mix-up in alcoolica's zone, George Alexandru stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Lucrețiu Mitescu came out of the goal and George Alexandru tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 43rd minute the ball was on its way in behind alcoolica's goalkeeper Lucrețiu Mitescu, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. George Alexandru fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lucrețiu Mitescu having to interfere. alcoolica's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Tiberiu Magheran in the 49th minute. At last the ball reached Ionuț Costăchescu at the corner, ending with a kick to difficult to stop for the goalkeeper of Nevesteasca. 1-1. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Rareș Dobrica stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 55th minute, Vali Blăniță got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. alcoolica's Lucrețiu Mitescu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by George Alexandru in the 57th minute of play. Lucrețiu Mitescu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from George Alexandru in the 59th minute of play. George Alexandru fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lucrețiu Mitescu having to interfere. Adam Dordea sent away a hard shot on goal in the 64th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. George Alexandru sent away a hard shot on goal in the 97th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The referee felt a red card was in order, 101 minutes into the game, when Petrică Țepeluș put in a rough tackle. In a very dangerous position, a player in alcoolica fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 100th minute. Penalty! It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Nevesteasca had played much better football throughout.
