The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Isac Zbereanu came up free with the goalie in the 18th minute, the Mutecs FC Academy fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Isac Zbereanu couldn't finish the play. Eduard Enoiu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 25th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Narcis Urducea charged in rather forcefully in the 26th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Narcis Urducea the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 26 played minutes Mutecs FC Academy got a freekick which was hit by Narcis Urducea. Isac Zbereanu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 31st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Iacob Horațiu struck a weak shot in the 32nd minute. Lapurdi Barreras didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Szekely FC. With an all-out effort, Szekely FC's Lapurdi Barreras threw himself towards the right post 39 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Maxim Uncheşelu, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Szekely FC's Manole Olariu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Vintilă Zdroană in the 47th minute of play. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Vintilă Zdroană stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Doru Huidu's late challenge caught a Szekely FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Doru Huidu helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Mutecs FC Academy's Doru Huidu got a free kick in the 51st minute. Isac Zbereanu could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 55th minute of the match, but Manole Olariu made a huge save. Manole Olariu was a little too slow when Vintilă Zdroană got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 56th minute. The score was now 0-1. Vintilă Zdroană was extremely unlucky when he, in the 61st minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. In the 64th match minute, Szekely FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bogdan Iorda to maneuver through the defense. After 64 played minutes, Mutecs FC Academy's Gigi Hrib shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Manole Olariu came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Mutecs FC Academy reached it. Marcel Brănet kicked well hit freekick during the 68th minute of the match. In the 73rd minute Nae Miniș shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lapurdi Barreras saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Vintilă Zdroană had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 86th match minute, Szekely FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Maxim Uncheşelu to maneuver through the defense. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Mutecs FC Academy had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
