Spectators: 5881 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1731, VIP seats: 150) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Eduard Enoiu made the kick off which started today's match. Eduard Enoiu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 3rd minute. Horia Mangra tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 9th minute, Manole Nediu managed to get in a good position for a shot. Socetu AS's supporters rose to their feet, but Manole Nediu was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Manole Olariu breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Manole Olariu made a fantastic save in the 13th minute, when Manole Nediu sent off a good shot on target. After 18 played minutes Szekely FC got a freekick which was hit by Maxim Uncheşelu. If Iacob Horațiu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Eduard Enoiu scored 0-1 in the 28th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Horia Mangra, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Iacob Horațiu in the 32nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Horia Mangra prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Eduard Enoiu recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 33rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dorin Caloian in the 36th minute of play forced Szekely FC's goalkeeper Manole Olariu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Manole Olariu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dorin Caloian in the 38th minute of play. Eduard Enoiu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 45th minute. Socetu AS's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Szekely FC the free kick. In the 48th match minute, Socetu AS was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Iordache Tăbăcaru to maneuver through the defense. Traian Diaconu was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 49th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The referee showed Dorel Călin the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 83 played minutes Szekely FC got a freekick which was hit by Dorel Călin. The audience thought a goal was coming when Iacob Horațiu got free with Horia Mangra in the 87th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. If Eduard Enoiu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Manole Olariu was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. For all the effort they put into the match, the Szekely FC players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Socetu AS.
