With his leg Sever Colin managed to avoid a goal in the 8thth minute, when Varati FC's Sandu Tadici fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Moise Bălace in the 12th minute of play forced Indol's goalkeeper Sever Colin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Indol's Edgar Rotariu got a free kick in the 14th minute. Codrin Bitănescu recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 20th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Sandu Tadici struck a weak shot in the 24th minute. Sever Colin didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Varati FC. Indol's defense didn't have a chance, in the 26th minute, when Moise Bălace scored to the left of an out of position Sever Colin, making the score, 2-1. Edgar Rotariu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 29th minute. Marin Minulescu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Sandu Tadici came free with the goalkeeper in the 31st minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Sever Colin could save by the left post. In the 32nd minute, Mugurel Teaşcă hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Nicolae Gorjanu struck a weak shot in the 33rd minute. Sever Colin didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Varati FC. 37 minutes into the match, Indol's goal looked a bit too open when Moise Bălace came free, but Sever Colin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 39th minute, Emilian Iuzbașa hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Marcu Manciulescu came up free with the goalie in the 44th minute, the Indol fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Marcu Manciulescu couldn't finish the play. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-1 at half-time.

When Codrin Bitănescu fell near the penalty area in the 51st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Indol's protests and gave Codrin Bitănescu a yellow card for diving instead. Codrin Bitănescu hit a great freekick 51 minutes into the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 54th minute, Edgar Rotariu managed to get in a good position for a shot. Indol's supporters rose to their feet, but Edgar Rotariu was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Marin Minulescu breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Sever Colin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Moise Bălace in the 57th minute of the match. Sever Colin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Moise Bălace in the 62nd minute of play. If Andrei Cismaș had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Sever Colin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Emilian Iuzbașa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 72 minutes into the game, Varati FC's Sandu Tadici nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Sever Colin made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-1. Marcu Manciulescu could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 76th minute of the match, but Marin Minulescu made a huge save. 78 minutes into the match, Indol's goal looked a bit too open when Moise Bălace came free, but Sever Colin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Edgar Rotariu could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 80th minute of the match, but Marin Minulescu made a huge save. In the 91st minute Moise Bălace shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sever Colin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
