Vasile Stratulat didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for AS Dealurile. With 4 minutes on the clock, Aristide Vanghelie commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. In a very dangerous position, a player in Pereveciori fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 3rd minute. Penalty! The referee gave AS Dealurile a penalty, 6 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Stelian Vancea, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Pereveciori's Vasile Stratulat. 0-1. In the 10th play minute Valentin Nichitelea came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Costel Giosu. 1-1. With a little luck, AS Dealurile's Costel Giosu got control of the ball when Valentin Nichitelea tried to sneak it across the goal line. When Nae Bogdan came up free with the goalie in the 20th minute, the AS Dealurile fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Nae Bogdan couldn't finish the play. In the 22nd minute, one of Pereveciori:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Pereveciori. Stelian Vancea shot the penalty kick right outside the post. 33 minutes into the game, AS Dealurile's Eric Petrescu nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Vasile Stratulat made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-3. Costel Giosu made a fantastic save in the 38th minute, when Valentin Nichitelea sent off a good shot on target. If Fabian Geamănu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 48 minutes into the match, Pereveciori's goal looked a bit too open when Eric Petrescu came free, but Vasile Stratulat reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After the first half AS Dealurile were leading 1-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The wind increased when Nae Bogdan made the kick off in the second half. 54 minutes into the match, Pereveciori's goalkeeper Vasile Stratulat had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Eric Petrescu. Eric Petrescu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Vasile Stratulat having to interfere. 60 minutes into the match, AS Dealurile's Nae Bogdan sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Vasile Stratulat narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After 65 minutes, Fabian Geamănu mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Pereveciori and the AS Dealurile players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 65 played minutes Pereveciori got a freekick which was hit by Fabian Geamănu. 69 minutes into the match, AS Dealurile's goal looked a bit too open when Valentin Nichitelea came free, but Costel Giosu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Valer Burdea hit a great freekick 70 minutes into the match. Vasile Stratulat made an important save on a dangerous shot by Eric Petrescu in the 72nd minute. In the 74th minute, Nae Bogdan got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Vasile Stratulat made a fantastic save in the 80th minute, when Eric Petrescu sent off a good shot on target. If Eric Petrescu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 92 minutes into the game, Valentin Nichitelea cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-3. Costel Giosu was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. AS Dealurile had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
