Spectators: 7511 (Terracing: 5634, Seating: 1727, VIP seats: 150) Precupesti CSS's Pompiliu Receanu started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 7th minute, Iosif Urdea got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 13 minutes, Pompiliu Receanu mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Precupesti CSS and the FcVoluntari players grew even worse after the yellow card. Sever Vergulescu could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 17th minute of the match, but Aurelian Apopei made a huge save. Irinel Şerban's late challenge caught a FcVoluntari's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Irinel Şerban helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Precupesti CSS getting a freekick after 18 minutes play. Irinel Şerban hit a great ball. When Petruț Bostan came up free with the goalie in the 20th minute, the FcVoluntari fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Petruț Bostan couldn't finish the play. Pompiliu Receanu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Aurelian Apopei having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Petruț Bostan in the 28th minute of play forced Precupesti CSS's goalkeeper Moise Stănciulaş to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Pompiliu Receanu recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 29th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Sever Vergulescu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 31st minute. Aurelian Apopei tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, FcVoluntari's Horea Zgârcu got a free kick in the 32nd minute. Sever Vergulescu might have been able to make a better finish in the 34th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Aurelian Apopei. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Sever Vergulescu ran back to his position shaking his head. With his leg Aurelian Apopei managed to avoid a goal in the 36thth minute, when Precupesti CSS's Sever Vergulescu fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. After 37 played minutes FcVoluntari got a freekick which was hit by Emil Sasu. Pompiliu Receanu recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 44th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal.

The wind increased when Petruț Bostan made the kick off in the second half. With a little luck, Precupesti CSS's Moise Stănciulaş got control of the ball when Petruț Bostan tried to sneak it across the goal line. Emil Sasu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 53rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Petruț Bostan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 56th minute. Moise Stănciulaş tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Irinel Şerban got his second yellow card in the match during the 61st minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. After recieving a nice pass, FcVoluntari's Ivan Vulcănescu tried to score from far away in the 62nd minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Precupesti CSS's Moise Stănciulaş proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 65th minute of the match, managed to save Precupesti CSS from getting a goal against them. The supporters of Precupesti CSS booed when FcVoluntari was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 82 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ivan Vulcănescu didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 84th minute, Octav Burileanu sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and FcVoluntari's Aurelian Apopei didn't even have to move. Sever Vergulescu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Aurelian Apopei having to interfere. Aurelian Apopei made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sever Vergulescu in the 95th minute of play. When the referee ended the match the Precupesti CSS players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
