Cublesu SC's Eliodor Miron played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Iosif Urdea in the 5th minute of play. After 6 minutes, Nicodim Apopei mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Cublesu SC and the FcVoluntari players grew even worse after the yellow card. Nicodim Apopei fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 10th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Aurelian Apopei having to interfere. If Petruț Bostan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 17th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Eliodor Miron made an important save on a dangerous shot by Petruț Bostan in the 22nd minute. If Mihăiţă Busuioceanu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Iosif Urdea hit a great freekick 26 minutes into the match. The crowd rose to their feet as Iosif Urdea kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Eliodor Miron. That made the score 2-0 in the 28 minute of play. Eliodor Miron came out of the goal in the 33rd minute to try and stop a shot by FcVoluntari's Iosif Urdea. But to his dismay, Iosif Urdea quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-0. Eliodor Miron made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Iosif Urdea in the 37th minute of play. Iosif Urdea sent away a hard shot on goal in the 40th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After having played for 44 minutes, Mihăiţă Busuioceanu managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Cublesu SC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Mihăiţă Busuioceanu was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. A collision led to FcVoluntari getting a freekick after 45 minutes play. Horea Zgârcu hit a great ball.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Iulian Ştefulescu was the one to do the kick off. 52 minutes into the match, FcVoluntari's goalkeeper Aurelian Apopei had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Mihăiţă Busuioceanu. Narcis Lechințan hit a great freekick 58 minutes into the match. In the 61st minute Petruț Bostan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eliodor Miron saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Eliodor Miron showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Petruț Bostan in the 63rd minute of the match. Cosmin Pârcălab took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 65th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Eliodor Miron. Cublesu SC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. After 68 played minutes Cublesu SC got a freekick which was hit by Andrei Vlădean. A collision led to Cublesu SC getting a freekick after 70 minutes play. Andrei Vlădean hit a great ball. FcVoluntari's Ivan Vulcănescu couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 71st minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Cublesu SC. After some fancy dribbling in the 77th minute, Iosif Urdea managed to get in a good position for a shot. FcVoluntari's supporters rose to their feet, but Iosif Urdea was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Eliodor Miron breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When Iosif Urdea came up free with the goalie in the 78th minute, the FcVoluntari fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Iosif Urdea couldn't finish the play. Iosif Urdea sent away a hard shot on goal in the 79th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Iulian Ştefulescu might have been able to make a better finish in the 84th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Aurelian Apopei. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Iulian Ştefulescu ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 85th minute, Horea Zgârcu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 88 minutes into the match, FcVoluntari's goalkeeper Aurelian Apopei had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Mihăiţă Busuioceanu. After a defensive mix-up in FcVoluntari's zone, Mihăiţă Busuioceanu stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Aurelian Apopei came out of the goal and Mihăiţă Busuioceanu tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. For all the effort they put into the match, the Cublesu SC players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for FcVoluntari.
