Ovidiu Măliță fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 8th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Moise Stănciulaş having to interfere. 1-0 became the score in the 10th minute when Fabian Hârșu elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Moise Stănciulaş made a fantastic save in the 18th minute, when Ovidiu Măliță sent off a good shot on target. 19 minutes into the game, Fabian Hârșu recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Moise Stănciulaş. Fabian Hârșu showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-0. Moise Stănciulaş stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Fabian Hârșu's shot from short distance in the 24th minute. When the match clock showed 26 minutes, the score became 2-1 when Sever Vergulescu sped through Aliza's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Bogdan Vătafu. Fabian Hârșu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 31st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. When Ovidiu Măliță came up free with the goalie in the 34th minute, the Aliza fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ovidiu Măliță couldn't finish the play. Liviu Zdrobău could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 36th minute of the match, but Moise Stănciulaş made a huge save. Moise Stănciulaş took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fabian Hârșu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some fancy dribbling in the 42nd minute, Fabian Hârșu managed to get in a good position for a shot. Aliza's supporters rose to their feet, but Fabian Hârșu was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Moise Stănciulaş breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Ovidiu Măliță could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 43rd minute of the match, but Moise Stănciulaş made a huge save. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Nicu Nacu kicked well hit freekick during the 52nd minute of the match. Moise Stănciulaş made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ovidiu Măliță in the 54th minute of play. In the 56th minute Fabian Hârșu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Moise Stănciulaş saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience was convinced that Ovidiu Măliță's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Moise Stănciulaş was relentless in the 57th minute of the game. Aliza's supporters crossed their fingers, but Fabian Hârșu was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Aliza had played much better football throughout.
