Maxim Vaştag dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Ivan Ţugui's late challenge caught a Aliza's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ivan Ţugui helped the player get up and apologised. Fabian Hârșu recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 16th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a rather tough play, Izbicioara's Nicolae Șofran got a free kick in the 17th minute. After having played for 18 minutes, Ovidiu Măliță managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ovidiu Măliță fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Maxim Vaştag having to interfere. Maxim Vaştag made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fabian Hârșu in the 39th minute of play. 47 minutes into the match, Izbicioara's goal looked a bit too open when Fabian Hârșu came free, but Maxim Vaştag reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Cătălin Frântu to make the kick off. Fabian Hârșu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 52nd minute. Maxim Vaştag tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Ovidiu Măliță had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Izbicioara's Costin Barboni got a good chance for a goal in the 63rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 65th minute Fabian Hârșu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Maxim Vaştag saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Bogdan Vătafu stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Cătălin Frântu's shot from short distance in the 70th minute. 78 minutes into the match, Izbicioara's goal looked a bit too open when Fabian Hârșu came free, but Maxim Vaştag reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Aliza booed when Izbicioara was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 78 match minutes in a wonderful position. Costin Barboni didn't get a good kick on the ball.
