The referee ignored Robaia's protests and gave Damian Isvoreanu a yellow card for diving instead. In the 16th minute, Damian Isvoreanu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A collision led to Robaia getting a freekick after 22 minutes play. Damian Isvoreanu hit a great ball. In the 26th match minute, -PSC- Balaci FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Costin Todoran to maneuver through the defense. Mugur Ghimpu struck a weak shot in the 30th minute. Aurelian Chiriacescu didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Robaia. Mugur Ghimpu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 32nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some fancy dribbling in the 34th minute, Eric Chivu managed to get in a good position for a shot. Robaia's supporters rose to their feet, but Eric Chivu was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Aurelian Chiriacescu breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Mihail Amurăriței made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cristinel Tărbac in the 39th minute of play. The supporters of -PSC- Balaci FC booed when Robaia was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 56 match minutes in a wonderful position. Calistrat Vasilian didn't get a good kick on the ball. 58 minutes in the game, Cristinel Tărbac dribbled his way through the penalty area and after maneuvering past an opponent, drilled a quick shot at the goal. The ball looked like it was going in, but it was hit a bit too hard and flew over the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 60th minute, Viorel Ghețea managed to get in a good position for a shot. Robaia's supporters rose to their feet, but Viorel Ghețea was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Marius Şuplăcan came free with the goalkeeper in the 70th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Mihail Amurăriței could save by the left post. Viorel Ghețea received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 76th minute. Aurelian Chiriacescu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Viorel Ghețea came up free with the goalie in the 78th minute, the Robaia fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Viorel Ghețea couldn't finish the play. When Robaia's Mugur Ghimpu in the 80th minute got a chance for a shot 80th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. There was no doubt that Robaia were the better team. Robaia's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
