Spectators: 7515 (Terracing: 5637, Seating: 1728, VIP seats: 150) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Mugurel Gherguț made the kick off which started today's match. Stiinta Barlad were furious when Vlad Ţiţeica was red carded, 7 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. After 7 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Stiinta Barlad! The referee gave Ordoreanul a penalty, 9 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Radu Doloman, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Stiinta Barlad's Ştefan Lipoveanu. 0-1. 12 minutes into the match, Ordoreanul's goalkeeper Valer Crivoi had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Virgil Nistorescu. 15 minutes into the game, Stiinta Barlad's Virgil Nistorescu nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Valer Crivoi made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mugurel Gherguț in the 21st minute of play forced Stiinta Barlad's goalkeeper Ştefan Lipoveanu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Virgil Nistorescu fell near the penalty area in the 24th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Stiinta Barlad's protests and gave Virgil Nistorescu a yellow card for diving instead. After 24 played minutes Stiinta Barlad got a freekick which was hit by Virgil Nistorescu. Teodor Praporgescu hit a great freekick 30 minutes into the match. After a defensive mix-up in Stiinta Barlad's zone, Leontin Flamaropol stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ştefan Lipoveanu came out of the goal and Leontin Flamaropol tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Octav Alexa struck a weak shot in the 33rd minute. Ştefan Lipoveanu didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ordoreanul. Leontin Flamaropol received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 35th minute. Ştefan Lipoveanu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ştefan Lipoveanu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mugurel Gherguț in the 36th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Leontin Flamaropol in the 40th minute of play forced Stiinta Barlad's goalkeeper Ştefan Lipoveanu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Mugurel Gherguț sent away a hard shot on goal in the 41st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Leontin Flamaropol succeeded in the game's 46th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 1-2. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

If Manole Seţeanu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Leontin Flamaropol came up free with the goalie in the 57th minute, the Ordoreanul fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Leontin Flamaropol couldn't finish the play. The supporters of Stiinta Barlad booed when Ordoreanul was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 64 match minutes in a wonderful position. Octav Alexa didn't get a good kick on the ball. After having played for 70 minutes, Leontin Flamaropol managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ordoreanul's supporters crossed their fingers, but Leontin Flamaropol was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Leontin Flamaropol recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 73rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After having played for 76 minutes, Teodor Praporgescu managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Stiinta Barlad's supporters crossed their fingers, but Teodor Praporgescu was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. A collision led to Stiinta Barlad getting a freekick after 78 minutes play. Emanuel Bulencea hit a great ball. Mugurel Gherguț received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 81st minute. Ştefan Lipoveanu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Leontin Flamaropol had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Leontin Flamaropol was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 86th minute. Ordoreanul's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. The audience thought a goal was coming when Manole Seţeanu got free with Ştefan Lipoveanu in the 88th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Ştefan Lipoveanu made an important save on a dangerous shot by Leontin Flamaropol in the 89th minute. When Mugurel Gherguț came up free with the goalie in the 91st minute, the Ordoreanul fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Mugurel Gherguț couldn't finish the play. Leontin Flamaropol could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 96th minute of the match, but Ştefan Lipoveanu made a huge save. Ordoreanul played a much better game than Stiinta Barlad and deserved their victory. The Stiinta Barlad players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
