Spectators: 5110 (Terracing: 4100, Seating: 1010, VIP seats: 0) AS Roma Braila's Costică Mudura started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 3 minutes into the match, Ordoreanul's goalkeeper Valer Crivoi had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Sandu Chiriacescu. In the 5th match minute, AS Roma Braila was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Costică Mudura to maneuver through the defense. In the 10th minute, Mugurel Gherguț made a precise shot to the right of Petru Todericiu. AS Roma Braila's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. If Sandu Chiriacescu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 20 minutes into the match, Leontin Flamaropol notched a goal, 1-2, to the right of AS Roma Braila's Petru Todericiu. Petru Todericiu was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Victor Enoiu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 23rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Leontin Flamaropol fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Petru Todericiu having to interfere. Petru Todericiu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mugurel Gherguț in the 28th minute of play. If Sandu Chiriacescu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Pavel Oțeteleșanu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Valer Crivoi having to interfere. After 36 minutes, Sandu Chiriacescu mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the AS Roma Braila and the Ordoreanul players grew even worse after the yellow card. Sandu Chiriacescu kicked well hit freekick during the 36th minute of the match. Vali Zbârnea sent away a hard shot on goal in the 39th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With his leg Valer Crivoi managed to avoid a goal in the 45thth minute, when AS Roma Braila's Costică Mudura fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. After a rather tough play, AS Roma Braila's Leonard Dichiseanu got a free kick in the 46th minute. In the 48th minute of the match Radu Doloman sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Petru Todericiu skillfully saved the ball. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-2 lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Mugurel Gherguț stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Petru Todericiu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mugurel Gherguț in the 60th minute of the match. 62 minutes into the match, AS Roma Braila's goalkeeper Petru Todericiu had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Manole Seţeanu. Ordoreanul's Valer Crivoi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Pavel Oțeteleșanu in the 64th minute of play. When David Verzeanu came up free with the goalie in the 66th minute, the AS Roma Braila fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that David Verzeanu couldn't finish the play. Pavel Oțeteleșanu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 68th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Valer Crivoi having to interfere. Costică Mudura received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 69th minute. Valer Crivoi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 73rd minute, Sandu Chiriacescu got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Petru Todericiu came out of the goal in the 78th minute to try and stop a shot by Ordoreanul's Leontin Flamaropol. But to his dismay, Leontin Flamaropol quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-3. The supporters of Ordoreanul booed when AS Roma Braila was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 82 match minutes in a wonderful position. Leonard Dichiseanu didn't get a good kick on the ball. The long shot by Radu Doloman in the 84th minute really tested Petru Todericiu's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. 85 minutes into the match, Victor Enoiu dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Petru Todericiu, 1-4. In the 88th minute, Ilie Enceanu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Sandu Chiriacescu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 92 minutes into the match, AS Roma Braila's Costică Mudura sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Valer Crivoi narrowly saved just below the crossbar. When the referee blew the final whistle jeers and boos were heard from the home team's supporters. They were angered to see AS Roma Braila lose a match they had controlled from the kick-off.
