Spectators: 7569 (Terracing: 5678, Seating: 1740, VIP seats: 151) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Lucian Zbuchea kicked off to start the match. Lucian Zbuchea fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 8th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ştefan Lipoveanu having to interfere. Ştefan Lipoveanu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lucian Zbuchea, who was totally free with the ball in the 10th minute. A collision led to FC KLAUSENBURG getting a freekick after 11 minutes play. Albert Mantu hit a great ball. Augustin Bunescu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Octav Raicu in the 13th minute of play. In the 15th minute, Stiinta Barlad's Octav Raicu dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. Ştefan Lipoveanu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lucian Zbuchea in the 19th minute of the match. When FC KLAUSENBURG's Lucian Zbuchea in the 24th minute got a chance for a shot 24th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Stiinta Barlad's goalie prevented a goal. After 27 played minutes Stiinta Barlad got a freekick which was hit by Emanuel Bulencea. Nichifor Măgureanu hit a great freekick 28 minutes into the match. The audience was convinced that Lucian Zbuchea's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ştefan Lipoveanu was relentless in the 32nd minute of the game. Emilian Găman recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 33rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The corner ended in Petru Turceanu almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Stiinta Barlad's Ştefan Lipoveanu did a great save. Virgil Nistorescu's late challenge caught a FC KLAUSENBURG's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Virgil Nistorescu helped the player get up and apologised. FC KLAUSENBURG's Florin Dabija was substituted for Emilian Găman. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Emanuel Bulencea kicked well hit freekick during the 53rd minute of the match. 58 minutes into the match, FC KLAUSENBURG's goal looked a bit too open when Octav Raicu came free, but Augustin Bunescu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Lucian Zbuchea took the ball and in the 61 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ştefan Lipoveanu. Ştefan Lipoveanu dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. Florin Dabija sent away a hard shot on goal in the 66th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Augustin Bunescu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Octav Raicu in the 68th minute of the match. Nicodim Mâinea received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 70th minute. Augustin Bunescu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ştefan Lipoveanu stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Lucian Zbuchea's shot from short distance in the 73rd minute. After 75 minutes, Lucian Zbuchea made it 1-2 with a short kick to the right side. Stiinta Barlad's Ştefan Lipoveanu tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Lucian Zbuchea might have been able to make a better finish in the 78th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Ştefan Lipoveanu. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Lucian Zbuchea ran back to his position shaking his head. Ştefan Lipoveanu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lucian Zbuchea in the 80th minute of play. In the 84th minute of the match, Lucian Zbuchea tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Ştefan Lipoveanu saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. An unexpected shot in the 90th minute by Horaţiu Conta got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. When FC KLAUSENBURG's Lucian Zbuchea in the 90th minute got a chance for a shot 90th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Stiinta Barlad's goalie prevented a goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Octav Raicu in the 91st minute of play forced FC KLAUSENBURG's goalkeeper Augustin Bunescu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 93 played minutes Stiinta Barlad got a freekick which was hit by Teodor Praporgescu. FC KLAUSENBURG played a much better game than Stiinta Barlad and deserved their victory. The Stiinta Barlad players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
