Spectators: 7655 (Terracing: 5743, Seating: 1760, VIP seats: 152) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Mugur Ghimpu took the kick off in the first half of the match. 3 minutes into the match, Costel Georgescu dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Mihail Amurăriței, 1-0. 2-0 became the score in the 9th minute when Costel Georgescu elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. In the 15th minute, Gunners FC's Costel Georgescu dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 3-0. Edgar Panciu recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 23rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Costel Georgescu in the 26th minute of play forced Robaia's goalkeeper Mihail Amurăriței to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 31st minute Costel Georgescu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mihail Amurăriței saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the match clock showed 33 minutes, the score became 4-0 when Costel Georgescu sped through Robaia's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Mihail Amurăriței. The crowd rose to their feet as Gunners FC's Costel Georgescu slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Mihail Amurăriței. That made the score 5-0 after 39 minutes of play. After having played for 42 minutes, Mugur Ghimpu managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Robaia's supporters crossed their fingers, but Mugur Ghimpu was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Costel Georgescu was extremely unlucky when he, in the 44th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. In the 46th minute, Gunners FC's Augustin Spirache ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Mihail Amurăriței. Mihail Amurăriței yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 6-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Costel Georgescu to make the kick off. Mihail Amurăriței didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Costel Georgescu went, in the 53rd minute, to the upper right corner, 7-0 was the resulting score. When Costel Georgescu came up free with the goalie in the 60th minute, the Gunners FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Costel Georgescu couldn't finish the play. If Gigi Ioniță had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 61st minute Gigi Ioniță shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mihail Amurăriței saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 63 minutes, Costel Georgescu made it 8-0 with a short kick to the right side. Robaia's Mihail Amurăriței tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Mihail Amurăriței took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Costel Georgescu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Gigi Ioniță fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mihail Amurăriței having to interfere. In the 68th minute Costel Georgescu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mihail Amurăriței saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 71st minute, Damian Isvoreanu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Mihail Amurăriței showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Costel Georgescu, who was totally free with the ball in the 73rd minute. Robaia's Mihail Amurăriței played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Denis Foltea in the 74th minute of play. Edgar Panciu hit a great freekick 76 minutes into the match. Dragoş Târcă made a fantastic save in the 80th minute, when Viorel Ghețea sent off a good shot on target. Eric Chivu hit a great freekick 81 minutes into the match. Mihail Amurăriței took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Costel Georgescu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After taking down the ball on Gunners FC's corner George Mustea fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Mihail Amurăriței quite easily take care of the ball. Mihail Amurăriței showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gigi Ioniță, who was totally free with the ball in the 84th minute. If Costel Georgescu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Edgar Cutean's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Mihail Amurăriței read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 87th minute of play. 88 minutes into the match, Robaia's goal looked a bit too open when Costel Georgescu came free, but Mihail Amurăriței reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Edgar Cutean in the 89th minute of play forced Robaia's goalkeeper Mihail Amurăriței to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Mugur Ghimpu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 95th minute. Dragoş Târcă tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the referee ended the match the Gunners FC players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
