Spectators: 7632 (Terracing: 5725, Seating: 1755, VIP seats: 152) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Costel Georgescu kicked off to start the match. Cristinel Tărbac received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 3rd minute. Dragoş Târcă tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Denis Foltea hit a great freekick 4 minutes into the match. Dragoş Târcă showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cristinel Tărbac in the 6th minute of the match. Aurelian Chiriacescu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Costel Georgescu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. George Mustea hit a great freekick 9 minutes into the match. 14 minutes into the game, Costel Georgescu recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Aurelian Chiriacescu. Costel Georgescu showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. In the 17th minute, Edgar Panciu got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 18th minute, Costel Georgescu got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Aurelian Chiriacescu stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Gigi Ioniță's shot from short distance in the 22nd minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Costel Georgescu in the 23rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Aurelian Chiriacescu saved -PSC- Balaci FC from getting behind. After 25 played minutes Gunners FC got a freekick which was hit by Sorin Caba. After a defensive mix-up in Gunners FC's zone, Laurențiu Vişoianu stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Dragoş Târcă came out of the goal and Laurențiu Vişoianu tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The crowd rose to their feet as Gunners FC's Costel Georgescu slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Aurelian Chiriacescu. That made the score 2-0 after 27 minutes of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Costel Georgescu in the 32nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Aurelian Chiriacescu prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Gigi Ioniță's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Aurelian Chiriacescu read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 33rd minute of play. If Costel Georgescu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Denis Foltea sent away a hard shot on goal in the 42nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Costel Georgescu recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 43rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The supporters of Gunners FC booed when -PSC- Balaci FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 47 match minutes in a wonderful position. Leontin Cartianu didn't get a good kick on the ball. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Cristinel Tărbac stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Denis Foltea sent away a hard shot on goal in the 52nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Aurelian Chiriacescu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Costel Georgescu in the 53rd minute of play. In the 59th minute, Gigi Ioniță got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When Gunners FC's Costel Georgescu in the 60th minute got a chance for a shot 60th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye -PSC- Balaci FC's goalie prevented a goal. When the match clock showed 61 minutes, the score became 4-0 when Augustin Spirache sped through -PSC- Balaci FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Aurelian Chiriacescu. Costel Georgescu succeeded in the game's 65th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 5-0. Edgar Panciu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 69th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Aurelian Chiriacescu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Costel Georgescu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After having played for 84 minutes, Cristinel Tărbac managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. -PSC- Balaci FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Cristinel Tărbac was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Gigi Ioniță took the ball and in the 87 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Aurelian Chiriacescu. Aurelian Chiriacescu dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 7-0. Aurelian Chiriacescu came out of the goal in the 93rd minute to try and stop a shot by Gunners FC's Costel Georgescu. But to his dismay, Costel Georgescu quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 8-0. When Costel Georgescu came up free with the goalie in the 96th minute, the Gunners FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Costel Georgescu couldn't finish the play.
