Flavius Gheară was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Alexandru Furdui hit a great freekick 47 minutes into the match. After the first half BUFNITA FC were leading 0-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Adrian Ceaușescu to make the kick off. If Isac Stătescu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The supporters of CS.GLORIA CTP ARAD booed when BUFNITA FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 59 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gelu Albu didn't get a good kick on the ball.
